When your practice is engaged by a company as an adviser, you work in the company's programme from Programme advice. You raise what you find, ask for the evidence you need and hand over your reports. The company decides on each, and you see every decision here.
Who can do this
An expert on an advisory engagement with the company, working in the company's workspace. You raise and hand over. Only the company's owners and editors decide. Nothing you raise edits the company's controls.
Find it
In the company's workspace, open Programme advice in the sidebar. It appears once the company has granted your signed advisory scope and that scope covers its programmes.
Each form lets you choose the Programme it is about, or leave it as The engagement as a whole.
Raise a finding
Under Raise a finding, give a Title, choose the Severity, and describe What you found and What you recommend. Press Raise finding.
Ask for evidence
Under Ask for evidence, describe What you need and Why you need it, give a Needed by date if there is one, and press Send request.
Hand over a report
Under Hand over a report, choose A new report and give the Report title, or choose an earlier report to hand over its next version. Choose the file (PDF or Word, up to 50 MB), say What changed (optional), and press Hand over.
Follow the company's decisions
Everything you raise is listed under Your findings, Evidence you asked for and the reports you handed over.
- A finding shows Waiting on the company until the company decides, then Accepted, Resolved or Declined, with who decided, when and why.
- An evidence request shows Waiting on the company until it is answered, then Answered with the company's answer.
- A report version shows Accepted or Returned for changes, with the company's note.
Common questions
"Can I change a finding after I raise it?" No. Each record is append-only. Raise a new finding if something changes.
"Can I decide on my own finding?" No. Only the company's owners and editors decide.
