01Who we are
Asiri Compliance Ltd, RC 9545197, is the controller for the processing described in this notice. Our address is 2 Famuyiwa Obodo Street, Lambasa, Ajah, Lagos State, Nigeria. General contact: hello@asiri.ng. Privacy contact: Frank Elendu, DPO, dpo@asiri.ng.
This notice explains cookies and similar tracking on Asiri’s website and application. It supplements the main privacy notice and does not replace the separate information provided to applicants or employees.
02What we collect
Essential: session and workspace-remember cookies, and Cloudflare Turnstile form bot-check data (including IP address and browser information).
Analytics (optional, consent required): Microsoft Clarity collects usage events and session replay (how pages are used, clicks and scrolling). Clarity may call Microsoft Bing measurement endpoints (c.bing.com) as part of this Analytics measurement. This is not a separate Bing Ads tag.
Marketing (optional, consent required): Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tags, and LinkedIn Insight. These load only after you give Marketing consent.
03Purposes and lawful bases
Essential cookies and storage support sign-in, remembering your workspace and protecting forms from bots. These are needed to provide the service you ask for and keep it secure.
Analytics (Microsoft Clarity) helps us understand usage and investigate usability problems. Marketing (Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tags, LinkedIn Insight) helps us measure advertising and conversions. Both are optional and rely on your consent, which you can give or refuse separately. Continuing to browse or closing the banner is not consent.
04How we handle information
This notice explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on the Asiri application (app.asiri.ng) and our public website (asiri.ng).
Essential (always on, needed for the service to work): a signed-in session cookie that keeps you logged in; a workspace-remember cookie that remembers your workspace; and Cloudflare Turnstile with browser storage, used as a bot check on forms.
Optional on the public website, only after you consent: Analytics and Marketing, described below. Nothing optional is pre-ticked. Refusing costs you nothing and does not limit your use of the site. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie preferences on the website.
06International transfers
Microsoft Clarity (Analytics) operates in the United States. Marketing tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight) run only after Marketing consent. Questions about transfers and safeguards: dpo@asiri.ng. Our privacy notice at https://asiri.ng/legal/privacy explains international transfers.
07How long we keep information
Cookie lifetimes depend on the cookie and on your browser settings. Deleting a cookie does not necessarily delete information already received by a provider. Contact dpo@asiri.ng about retention of information held by providers; our privacy notice at https://asiri.ng/legal/privacy sets out retention.
08Automated decisions
We do not use cookies or analytics to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects without human review. Optional Analytics and Marketing tools only run if you consent.
09Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you can request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction, and object to processing. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact dpo@asiri.ng to exercise your rights. We will explain any lawful reason that prevents us from fully meeting a request.
Use Cookie preferences on the website to refuse optional Analytics or Marketing cookies or to withdraw consent, as easily as you gave it. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings, although removing essential session storage may sign you out. See our privacy notice at https://asiri.ng/legal/privacy.
10How to reach us
For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact Frank Elendu, Asiri’s appointed DPO and compliance lead, at dpo@asiri.ng. Explain the issue and the information involved. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before disclosing personal data. Raising a concern does not prevent you from contacting the NDPC.
11Complaints to the NDPC
You may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission about the handling of your personal data. You can contact the Commission through https://ndpc.gov.ng/contact/. You do not have to raise a complaint with Asiri first.
