Setting up your practice listing

How a DPCO or DPO practice completes its profile, publishes its listing in the marketplace and chooses whether to appear in the public directory.

Updated

Your listing is how companies on Asiri find your practice and decide whether to ask you for a price. You build it once, section by section, and publish it when the publishing check is complete.

Who can do this

An owner or editor of the practice workspace. Contributors and viewers can open the same page to read enquiries, briefs and scopes, but the profile controls are not shown to them. They see The listing is kept by a manager instead.

Open your listing

In your practice workspace, open Practice profile under Firm account (a DPO practice sees Practice account). The page has four tabs: Enquiries, Open briefs, Your scopes and How you look. Everything in this guide is on How you look.

At the top, a checklist shows what is still undone, such as Write your introduction, Publish a scope of work, Publish your listing, Add your payout account and Join the public directory. Pressing a step takes you to the section that does it. Beside it, a preview shows your card as a buyer sees it.

Each section saves on its own. Switching sections keeps what you have typed.

Practice profile

Under How you present:

  • Introduce your practice: describe the clients you help and the work you do. Up to 500 characters. You need at least 60 characters before you can publish.
  • Where you are based: your main office city. Choose Another city if yours is not in the list.
  • Practising since: optional, your first year in practice.
  • Team size: optional, including yourself.
  • Availability: Accepting new engagements or Not accepting new engagements yet. If you are not accepting work, you can add a Message for prospective clients. Your listing stays published either way.

Press Save your profile.

You do not choose whether you are a DPCO or a DPO here. That follows from how you were admitted.

A DPO practice also sees Companies you cannot act for in this section. Declaring conflicts is covered in its own guide.

Services & publishing

Under Your practice listing, choose from Services you offer, Sectors you work with and Languages. Press an option to select it. Use Add another option if what you do is not listed. Press Save listing.

Then look at Marketplace visibility. The publishing check lists what a listing needs:

  • A description buyers can read (your introduction, at least 60 characters)
  • Work you take on (at least one service)
  • Sectors you have worked in (at least one sector)
  • A saved price list before accepting work
  • A payout account before accepting paid work

The last two are not asked for while you are not accepting new engagements.

When every row is complete, tick List this practice in Asiri’s marketplace. Untick it to unpublish. That hides you from new buyers but does not affect work already under way.

Photos & identity

Under Photographs, which are yours, you can add five images: A face (the card photograph), Cover, Logo, The team and The office. Each must be a PNG, JPEG or WebP. An image is saved as soon as it uploads.

Below the photographs, Facts a buyer reads, which you cannot edit shows your licence standing, delivery record, reply time and capacity. These come from the register and from completed work. Nothing on the page changes them.

Public address

Under Your public address, choose the address of your public profile page and press Save public address. The section also gives you a badge for your own website (Copy badge code).

Directory visibility

Publishing your listing makes you findable inside Asiri. The public directory is a separate choice. Under The public directory, press Share profile details publicly to let people outside Asiri find your practice. Press Hide public profile to withdraw.

Common questions

"Why can I not tick the marketplace box?" Some rows in the publishing check are not complete yet. Open Marketplace visibility to see which.

"Do buyers see my rates on my card?" No. Your listing says how you charge. Prices come from your price list and the quotations you send. Use Your prices in the section menu to edit them.

"Can I pay to appear higher in the list?" No. There are no paid placements or sponsored rankings.
