We started where the law lives.
Built in Lagos for the NDPC era — open source first, platform second.
Why we exist.
Asiri began with a developer's frustration. Building production systems for Nigerian companies meant watching the same scene play out: teams stapling EU-built privacy tools onto a Nigerian law they were never designed for. The audits passed on paper and failed in practice.
In 2025 we open-sourced ndpr-toolkit — developer primitives for NDPA consent, data-subject requests, and breach workflows, shipped in 50+ releases on npm. The toolkit proved the point: Nigerian compliance needs Nigerian-built infrastructure.
Asiri, founded in Lagos in 2026, is the platform version of that conviction — NDPA workflows, audit-ready evidence, and customer-facing Trust Centers, with no European tax bolted on top.
Who is building this.
Creator and sole maintainer of ndpr-toolkit, the open-source NDPA developer toolkit. He came to compliance through engineering — building and securing production systems for Nigerian companies — and now builds the infrastructure layer for Nigeria's data-protection era.
