Audit intake for DPCO firms

How a DPCO firm connects a Quick Audit case to a company's programme, and how the company approves it and decides which declarations to take.

Updated

A Quick Audit case collects declarations from a client's people. Intake moves those declarations into the company's own programme on Asiri. The company creates a reference, the firm pairs its case, and the company approves and reviews every answer before it lands.

Who can do this

  • At the firm: people who can prepare Quick Audit cases.
  • At the company: people who manage the programme.

1. The company creates a reference

Open Programmes, open the programme and press Open NDPA work. Choose the reporting period. Under DPCO intake, press Create connection reference.

The Pairing reference — share with the responsible DPCO appears, with its expiry. It is a pairing identifier, not a sign-in link. Give it to the firm. To withdraw it, press Cancel reference.

2. The firm pairs its case

Open Quick Audit, open the case and choose the Company connection tab. Under Connected company:

  1. Open Pair a company connection.
  2. Enter the Company connection reference and press Preview company.
  3. Check the company, programme and period. Tick that you have the client's authority to share these declarations.
  4. Press Share this case for company approval.

The reference gives nobody access to the company's workspace.

3. The company approves

Under DPCO intake, the company sees the practice, the case, its dates, its scope and its departments. Press Approve this practice and case, or Decline connection.

4. Map departments

Open Department mappings and choose the company department for each of the case's departments. Press Save department mappings. Unresolved mappings grant no ownership or access.

5. Review the declarations

Press Review question declarations. Under Question transfer review:

  1. Open Select questions or reopen a saved review, choose up to fifty questions, and press Preview selected questions.
  2. For each question, compare the Client declarations with the Current company response.
  3. Choose a decision: Leave unresolved, Keep current company response, or accept one respondent's submitted answer. Write the reason.
  4. Press Save review decisions, then Apply saved review.

The page then says how many responses were applied, kept and left unresolved. Applying answers does not confirm them. The company's confirmation is a separate step.

Sharing more than responses

Responses are shared first. To ask for activities or files too, the company ticks them under Shared categories and presses Request selected categories. The firm confirms it has the client's authority to share them, then the company approves. Both sides must agree.

Ending the connection

Either side can press Revoke connection. Records the company already applied stay.

Common questions

"Does the firm see our workspace?" No. Intake moves declarations into your programme. It grants no access.

"Do we have to accept every answer?" No. You decide each question, and can keep your own response.

"The reference expired. What now?" Create a replacement reference.
