Acceptable use
What Asiri may not be used for, and the standard everyone who messages another person here agrees to.
Effective 25 August 2026 · Asiri Compliance Ltd
The short version
Asiri carries messages between colleagues, and between a firm and the client that engaged it. Everyone who sends a message here agrees to this, and it is simple: treat the people you are writing to as you would in the room. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive behaviour, and an account used for either can be removed.
What is not allowed
Harassment, threats, or abuse of another person. Hateful content directed at people for who they are. Sexual content, or content that exploits or endangers anyone, especially a child. Content that is unlawful, or that incites harm. Spam, and impersonation of a person or an organisation.
This is not a complete list, and it is not meant to be gamed at its edges. The standard is the spirit of it: Asiri is a place of work, and abusive or objectionable content has no place in it.
Reporting and blocking
Every message can be reported, and so can the person who sent it — the control is in the message itself and on the person’s profile, in the app and on the web. You can also block a person: they cannot then open a direct conversation with you, and their messages are hidden from you.
A report reaches a person at Asiri who reviews it. We act on reports of objectionable content and abusive users — removing content and, where warranted, removing the account — and we aim to do so within 24 hours of a report.
The data rule, which has not changed
Do not put another person’s personal data into Asiri without a lawful reason to — that is the whole product, and using it as a dumping ground for data you have no basis to hold is a misuse of it. What each workspace does with the data it holds is governed by that workspace’s own controller obligations under the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
